With this solicitation, BJA is seeking applications to support DOJ’s Global Justice Information Sharing Initiative (Global) to engage the full range of criminal justice policymakers and practitioners in the development of innovative strategies to improve the justice information and criminal intelligence sharing and technology capabilities of state, local, Tribal, territorial agencies and associated disciplines.
Goal
The goal of this project is to engage a full range of criminal justice policymakers and practitioners and to develop innovative strategies to improve justice information and criminal intelligence sharing.
Objectives
The objectives of this initiative are to address and overcome the barriers to justice information and criminal intelligence sharing across agencies, disciplines, and all levels of government. This includes identifying and recommending solutions to impediments like information and criminal intelligence sharing, identity management, data integrity, and identified issues through recommendations, guidelines, policy templates, toolkits, resources, etc. as it pertains to public safety and the input from the Global membership.
