Mariners Care Equipment Donation Grants have supported student-athletes across the Pacific Northwest in their baseball and softball journeys. They strive to increase equity, improve participation, and grow competitive play regardless of a student’s socioeconomic status.

Eligibility Criteria
- Any high school in the state of Washington or Oregon is eligible to apply for the Mariners Care Equipment Donation Grant. Preference will be given to schools that demonstrate financial need, including Title 1 school designation, and schools that are making efforts to ensure their baseball or softball programs are reflective of the racial and ethnic makeup of the broader school population.
- Grant funds can be used for items that will be used by the players and team, including player equipment, safety equipment, and updates to the field of play.
- Items intended for spectators or beautification of the ball field will not be considered.
- Programs that have received a previous Mariners Care Equipment Donation grant are not eligible for another grant in consecutive years. Other programs within the same school will be considered.
