Organizations must address the following needs of women in their community:
- Increasing life skills of women and girls, ie: Pre-K through 12 Education, Economic Empowerment, Physical and Mental Health, Violence and Crime.
- Encouraging the healthy development and personal authority of young girls.
- Raising awareness of gender disparities in their community.
In its grantmaking, the Women’s Giving Circle uses community research to develop initiatives, focuses on prevention and effective intervention, supports new ideas and untested efforts as well as programs that have demonstrated results and impact, and establishes expectations for sustainability, significant value and lasting impact.
Goals: The Women’s Giving Circle makes strategic, researched-based grants that facilitates systemic change to improve how women and girls are served in its community, applies creative solutions to critical needs, and produces lasting and measurable impact on the lives of women and girls.

Ceiteria
- Applicant organization must be a non-profit tax-exempt organization pursuant to IRS section 501(c)(3).
- Grants submitted by applicant organizations must meet the mission of the Women’s Giving Circle.
The following are excluded from consideration: organizations that promote a particular religious or political ideology; capital campaigns or endowments; dinner galas, advertising and other special fundraising events; contributions to the general fund of an organization; intermediary funding agencies; and scholarships.
