The Foundation endeavors to support organizations and communities in the Greater Denver area through values-driven philanthropy.
The primary focus of TRF grant making is in the following areas:
- Charitable organizations that are organized and operated to address mental health issues focused on substance abuse in the State of Colorado, including, access to education, prevention, or treatment programs to individuals suffering from substance use illness.
- Charitable organization that provide low-income housing in the State of Colorado in a charitable manner.

Eligibility Requirements
- All grant recipients must be charitable organizations recognized as tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, and as a public charity.
- Grants will be given to organizations that demonstrate that they have competent management who have a history of delivering results in an effective and cost efficient manner. Levels of overhead expenses will be taken into consideration.
- Grant recipients must have the ability and willingness to measure and report results.
- Currently, TRF is focused on funding strong organizations in the Denver Metro area.
