Details:

EDRF is funding human services organizations providing emergency relief to victims of flooding from Tropical Depression Fred and to human services organizations whose ability to provide their services has been directly affected by flooding.

Funding Information

Grants up to $10,000 will be awarded on a rolling basis.

What They Do Not Fund

EDRF grants generally do not support: debt retirement; sectarian religious purposes; partisan political purposes; individuals; or activities taking place or expenses incurred before grant decisions are made.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible to apply:

  • Eligible organizations must be community-based or regional nonprofits designated by the IRS as tax-exempt under 501(c)(3), faith-based organizations, or public agencies serving those affected by flooding related to Tropical Depression Fred in Western North Carolina.
  • Eligible organizations must have a demonstrated record of providing community services and the ability to respond to a significant increase in demand or the flooding must have directly affected the organization’s ability to provide its services.
