Examples
The following are representative, but not exclusive examples of projects which could be recipients of C.E. Fuller, Jr. and M.K. Fuller Fund grants:
- Helping low-income people meet their needs for food, clothing, shelter, energy, and health care, either in crisis/emergency situations or by planning for sustained stability;
- Indirectly helping people meet their basic needs on a sustained basis through housing rehabilitation, job retraining, or sponsoring new business enterprises;
- Educating and training people to cope with chemical dependency, lack of job training, or physical or emotional disabilities;
- Helping communities prevent crime and delinquency and treat victims of crime.
Funding Information
Grants generally range from $1,000 to $2,000.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible to apply for funding, an organization must:
- be classified as a charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code; or classified as an organization under Section 170(c)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code; and
- be located in or provide service to residents within the seven counties of northeast Minnesota (Aitkin, Carlton, Cook, Itasca, Koochiching, Lake and St. Louis) and/or the three counties in northwest Wisconsin (Bayfield, Douglas and Ashland).
