Purpose
They invite applications from qualified organizations for research-to-practice center grants. These centers, whether existing or newly created for the purposes of this funding, will synthesize and translate existing research into practice for health promotion and development of positive assets that will lead to the adoption of healthy behaviors, improve adolescent sexual health more broadly, and ultimately help to reduce unintended teen pregnancy.
Priority Areas
Funded projects should address only one of the following priority areas:
- Engaging parents and caregivers,
- Expanding meaningful youth engagement and a focus on youth protective factors (e.g., strong support from caregivers, healthy peer relationships, and engagement and connections to school, community, peers, athletics, etc.),
- Systems-level approaches in adolescent health and teen pregnancy prevention (e.g., environments supportive of healthy behaviors, fostering positive connections to schools, neighborhoods, and communities, etc.),
- Trauma-informed and inclusive care and programming,
- Working with youth-serving professionals in the systems that serve the most vulnerable youth.
Funding Information
- Award Ceiling (Federal Funds including indirect costs): $1,200,000 per budget period.
- Award Floor (Federal Funds including indirect costs): $800,000 per budget period.

- Estimated Period of Performance: Not to exceed 4 years.
Eligibility Criteria
Any public or private entity located in any one of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, Guam, Republic of Palau, Federated States of Micronesia, and the Republic of the Marshall Islands is eligible to apply for a grant under this announcement. Faith-based organizations and American Indian/Alaskan Native/Native American (AI/AN/NA) organizations are eligible to apply. Community-based organizations are eligible to apply.

- Public and State controlled institutions of higher education
