The Excellerator Fund is a joint venture developed by Latinos Progresando and Greater Auburn-Gresham Development Corp to drive equitable social and economic recovery through reimagined investment in Chicago’s Black and Mexican communities. The fund provides general operating support to nonprofit organizations with Black and Mexican leadership.

Eligibility Overview
- The organization must be a tax-exempt 501(c)3 non-profit organization (or have a fiscal sponsor)
- Organizations of operating budgets up to $2 million will be considered, with priority given to organizations under $500,000
- Organizations must have a predominantly Black or Mexican leadership team (this includes CEO/ED, Board, and Staff Leadership)
- Leadership teams may include CEO/ED, Director level, or equivalent title staff
- Organizations of all issue areas are eligible to apply
- The organization must have been in existence and operation for a minimum of one year
