The Access to Health Care iFund program was designed to support organizations that provide basic and preventative health care to those who would not otherwise have access to such services due to economic, social, or geographic reasons.

Programs may be new, continuing, or expanding. Previous grantees may reapply for additional funding if the program successfully achieved its goals. No will be made for capital campaigns, fund-raising events, research projects, vehicle purchases, clinical equipment, or facility construction. Support for administrative needs such as occupancy, communications, computer equipment, and overhead are rarely funded.
Funding preference
- Programs that serve uninsured and medically underserved individuals who are not otherwise eligible for state and/or federally funded programs
- Programs that encourage screening and prevention services for individuals at risk of chronic health conditions
- Programs that provide therapeutic services for patients with Parkinson’s disease or severe arthritic conditions
Additional funding priorities include
- Programs that leverage other resources and demonstrate collaboration between two or more organizations
- Programs with proven success or those most likely to achieve the goals of the program with an identified population.
Areas of Interest
- Health care services: Programming that provides primary, diagnostic, or preventative services. This would include medical, dental, mental health, and prescription drug treatments.
- Early detection services: Programming that provides screening and evaluation services for early detection or prevention of chronic medical conditions.
- Services for patients with Parkinson’s Disease: Programming that provides therapeutic services for patients with Parkinson’s Disease or severe arthritic conditions.

Grants will be awarded in the range of $5,000 – $40,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- The organization must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a published and updated GiveSmartOKC profile
- Programs must provide direct services in central Oklahoma; the Board of Directors must be located in central Oklahoma
- Programs must not be limited by residency, membership, or association with a particular institution Areas of Interest
