The Junior League of Pittsburgh, Inc. (JLP) is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through effective action and leadership.
In addition to grant funding, there are opportunities to receive volunteer support from members of the Junior League. Grants have been awarded to applicants with programming that aligns with the Junior League of Pittsburgh’s mission and where monies will have the greatest impact. Awards will be given for program funding.
Criteria
The JLP offers grants to 501c(3) organizations that support their ongoing efforts towards a food-secure Greater Pittsburgh community. This year, the League will distribute $1,000 in total to organizations working to alleviate food insecurity. It is recommended that requests be between $100 to $500 for needs to successfully carry out programming designed to meet community needs.
