Eligibility Criteria
- Please note that Impact 100 utilizes a Letter of Intent (LOI) followed by the Common Grant Application. Refer to the calendar on the “Application Process.” Organizations that apply to Impact 100 must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Incorporated a 501(c)(3) or 509(a) public charity with a certificate or letter of status as a pdf;
- Identify a program or project clearly within Impact 100’s guidelines;
- targets a defined population;
- operates for a defined duration;
- defined, measurable goals;
- spends funds in the 10 counties in the regional Tri-State area;
- utilizes full $100,000 grant.
- Select the proper focus area under which a proposal will be considered.
- Stay within the character limits outlined in the LOI and Common Grant.
- Clearly state what they will do, how they will spend the grant monies, and why funding is requested.
- Wait three years to reapply if have been an Impact 100 Grant Recipient. For example, 2015 recipients may not reapply until the 2019 grant cycle.
Proposal Expectations
- The organization’s proposal for a program grant must:
- Outline a project or program that targets a specific population for a specific duration and with specific measurable goals to be achieved.
- Provide services in Hamilton, Brown, Adams, Clermont, Butler, Warren, Dearborn, Kenton, Campbell, or Boone counties in Ohio, Eastern Indiana, and Northern Kentucky.
- Use the full amount of Impact 100’s available grant.
- Plan to expend the grant funds within 36 months.
- Be programmatic, capital, start-up, technical assistance, or expansion.
- Choose only one Focus Area (outlined on the right) under which it wishes to be considered. Impact 100 does not provide guidance as to which focus area is appropriate.
