This grant provides funding for programming focused on place-based efforts and supportive services to prevent crime and promote neighborhood safety.
The program for which you are applying must meet one of the following categories:
- Thriving Neighborhoods
- Empowered Youth and Young Adult
- Restoration and Resilience
- Intervention
- Violence Reduction
Funding Information
- Approximately $700,000 is available for the 2022 application. The minimum request is $50,000 and the maximum request is $250,000.
- First year grant would be from November 1, 2022 to December 31, 2023.
Eligibility Criteria
- Organizations that apply must:
- Serve residents of the City of Peoria with the program
- Be a not-for-profit, 501(c)3, or a government agency
- Have completed a full audit (not a 990 form) for its most recent fiscal year
- If your organization does not meet one or both of the last two requirements, you may partner with a qualifying “lead agency” that will serve as your fiscal sponsor.
