Interfaith Outreach of Carmel (IOC) was founded as an interfaith organization within Monterey County to address spiritual and practical needs. They operate the Joining Hands benefit shop whose profits provide grants to agencies to help reduce homelessness. By being outreach leaders within their community, they will increasingly aid in creating solutions, stimulating public awareness, and raising funds to provide grants to fulfill their mission.
Eligibility Criteria
- Grants are open to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations.
- Only one grant application per organization will be considered.
- Only proposals that serve the homeless in Monterey County will be accepted; i.e., Emergency Shelter, Permanent Supportive Housing, ReEntry Housing, Temporary Housing or Transitional Housing.
- Must be received by September 30, 2023.
Grant Applications must include:
- Completed Grant Application Form
- Organization’s 501(c)(3) statement and most recent IRS Form 990 (without attachments) and a current financial statement for the past 12 months, a current Balance Sheet and Total Annual Budget for current FY;
- A list of Board Members;
- Outcomes you plan to achieve; ·
- A clear plan describing how you will monitor and measure success of Project/Program goals and activities and;
- A brochure or other printed media information about your organization and, if applicable, a brochure or printed media information about your Project/Program.
