Funding Information
Funding for the 2023 cycle is not limited to a specific dollar amount, but awards for the 2022 funding cycle ranged from $3,000 to $15,000 per agency/legal entity.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization or local government agency.
- Limit of one application per agency/legal entity.
- Funds shall be used solely for the granted purpose or program.
- Funded activities shall commence in a timely manner and expenditures shall cease within one year after receipt.
- Grant recipient shall clearly acknowledge UWNU in promotional materials and at funded programs/activities; UWNU logos and branding guidelines will be given.
- Grant Recipients shall supply and allow their grant-funded success stories to be shared via UWNU’s social media, webpage, and other print or digital media (to raise funds to support this grant program we must be able to share your success!)
- Grant applicants who received 2022 funding will be required to submit a funding report by January 17, 2023. Grant recipients who do not turn in their grant report will not be able to apply for funding for 2024.
- Funds MUST NOT; benefit specific individuals or be deposited into / held in an endowment, be used to influence legislation or participate in political campaign activity, be used for religious purposes, be used for conferences, galas, 5K Runs, fundraisers or events, or benefit UWNU or its employees (e.g., gifts, meals, etc.).
- Funds MAY NOT be used for capital improvements, tenant or leasehold improvements or any other premises or building maintenance or improvements.
- The services/program funded by requested grant must serve residents in Weber, Box Elder, Morgan and/or Oneida Counties.
- Up to 10% of granted funds may be allocated to quality management and administration costs.
