Details:

Rochester Area Community Foundation aims to benefit financially needy individuals faced with unanticipated and/or emergency health care expenses for which there is no or inadequate health insurance or other reimbursement.

Grants may be used for equipment, therapy, rehab, necessary capital improvements, or other similar expenses. Grants may not be used for preventive or routine treatment, for reimbursable costs, or to support administration costs.

Grants will be paid through a nonprofit organization that is working with the family and will report on the use of the grant.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be 501(c)(3) organizations within the eight-county region around Rochester (Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Orleans, Seneca, Wayne, and Yates counties). Preference is given to smaller organizations.
