Eligibility Criteria
Funding is available in six counties and will be awarded to nonprofit organizations that align with their three focus areas.
Requirements
Grants are being distributed to help your county reduce infant mortality. There are two types of grants available: BBF Mini Grants and Aligned Partner Grants. Your activities should take place inside your county. Please make certain that the program you are submitting will have a direct impact on infant mortality reduction.
BBF Mini Grants:
- Are designed to provide a small infusion of cash for grassroots efforts
- Should not exceed $1000 except under special circumstances
- Must be granted to a 501c3
- After review by the Hub Partner and the Community Task Force, a recommendation will be made to the Bootheel Babies and Families Executive Council for approval and payment
Aligned Partner Grants:
- Can come in any amount, but will typically range up to $50,000
- Can be annual or multi-year
- Organization must be a 501c3 organization
- This form will create a Letter of Intent to be reviewed by the Community Advisory Task Force and the Executive Council. Successful applicants will then be directed to the Missouri Foundation for Health to complete an MFH application for final review and processing.
