As part of Orlando Health’s ongoing commitment to be engaged and involved in communities throughout Central Florida – fulfilling their mission to improve the health and quality of life of the individuals and communities they serve – they are pleased to offer competitive grants through the Orlando Health Community Grant Program to assist in coordinating, enriching and supporting efforts that help promote health and wellness in community.
These grants will serve to provide resources needed to fill a specific health- or wellness-related need impacting the families in communities. The Orlando Health Community Grant Program will focus mostly on funding initiatives that align with the 2022 Community Health Needs Assessment, specifically initiatives that enhance access to care.
Eligibility Criteria
- In order to be eligible for a grant through the Orlando Health Community Grant Program, an organization must:
- Be registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit
- Primarily serve Lake, Orange, Osceola and/or Seminole counties (at this time, proposals for programs where the majority of individuals impacted lives in counties other than the four listed previously will not be considered)
- Submit a proposal for program activities that occur within the grant cycle year of January 1, 2023 – December 31, 2023
- Agree to quarterly reporting
- Be able to provide high-level demographic data on participants impacted through grant funded program (percentage breakdown by gender, race, ethnicity and zip code)
