Land and Wildlife Conservation
Focus: Agencies, as well as land trusts, engaged in land and wildlife conservation efforts.
- Grants will be awarded for the preservation of North Texas area ranchland and open-space land utilized for agricultural purposes, wildlife, or botanical resources. In addition, programs providing education regarding the importance of protection of the land and natural resources are eligible.
- Grants for educational programming will be awarded up to $7,500 per organization.
- Grants for land conservation projects will be awarded up to $25,000 per organization. (Note: grants in this category should be directly related to land conservation, not focused on promoting land conservation.)
Geographic Eligibility: Tarrant, Parker, Johnson, Young, Jack, Denton, Wise, Hood, Somervell, Bosque, and Hill Counties.
