Through a competitive grants process, the Foundation supports innovative, creative, and efficient nonprofit organizations that clearly articulate missions and goals and that can prove successful at meeting the needs of their families, individuals and neighborhoods.
The Moline Foundation was established in 1953 to encourage philanthropy and create opportunities to improve the quality of life for present and future generations in Moline, the Quad Cities area and the surrounding region.
They work with donors to help their charitable partners working in the areas of: Arts and Culture, Continuing Education, The Great Outdoors, Community Development and Caring Neighbors.
Eligibility Criteria
- Grants are made to non-profit agencies located in The Moline Foundation community service area including the Quad Cities region of Scott County – Iowa, Rock Island, Mercer, Henry, Warren, Henderson and McDonough Counties, Illinois
- Not available to agencies and institutions funded primarily through tax support
- Non-Profits are eligible to receive one grant in a twelve-month period
- Grants are made for Capital and Program expenses only
