The Jefferson County Board of County Commissioners (BoCC) is accepting proposals from nonprofit and public sector organizations for $835,000 in unallocated American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds.
Donor Name: Jefferson County Board of County Commissioners
State: Washington
County: Jefferson County (WA)
Type of Grant: Grant
Deadline: 02/10/2023
Size of the Grant: $20,000-$100,000
Details:
The BoCC is looking for projects that move the needle on housing, economic development and public benefit in Jefferson County and leverage other funding sources such as matching funds for a grant-funded project. They are looking for projects that reflect geographic diversity throughout Jefferson County, and will focus generally on organizations that have not received previous ARPA or Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) awards from Jefferson County, though previous awardees are welcome to apply.
The BoCC recognizes that many worthy projects will qualify for these last ARPA dollars, and we will not be able to fund every project. Ultimate funding decisions will be based on Commissioner Priorities and requests will be assessed qualitatively by the BoCC.
Distribution of the $835,000 in remaining ARPA funds is contingent upon receipt of the final distribution of approximately $1.692 million by September 2023. Once received, these funds will be distributed for projects as prioritized by the Board of County Commissioners.
