The maximum grant amount per organization is $5,000 and will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligible non-profits include:

  • Non-profits/churches based in Los Alamitos with part of their mission to providing goods and services for food insecurities to benefit those in need. Grant applicants should provide a copy of their IRS tax exempt status letter.
  • The non-profit must be a participating non-profit organization of Serve Los Al committee in good standing with a large majority of population served in Los Alamitos, with a mission to provide good and services for food insecurities to benefit those in need. Grant applicants should provide a copy of their City of Los Alamitos Business License and a copy of their IRS tax exempt status letter.
