The Musgrave Foundation supports engagement in long term, high impact philanthropy by making available the opportunity for agencies to apply for larger scale, multi-year grants. The Musgrave MultiYear Impact Grant Program establishes long-term funding in order to have significant impact upon challenges in the Springfield-Greene County region.
The Community Foundation of the Ozarks is proud to provide the grant administration for the Jeannette L. Musgrave Foundation, managed by U.S. Bank Wealth Management. On behalf of the Musgrave Foundation, the CFO distributes grants through several programs each year, with the Musgrave Foundation Distribution Committee making recommendations.
Priority Concepts
The Musgrave Foundation encourages applications, in particular, which support successful recruitment and retention of foster parents; mental health support for biological parents, foster families, and children in foster care; support for physical space for biological parent visits in the throughout the Springfield, Missouri MSA; the relocation and reintegration of lost or shadow/hidden fostered children into the foster care system or biological parent care; trauma informed preschool and daycare facilities for children in foster care; and advocacy/support for biological parents. Long term solutions to pervasive foster care issues are encouraged.

Criteria
- Eligible organizations must already be engaged in supporting children in foster care. Additionally, eligible proposals must primarily focus on Greene County but can include support for children in foster care, foster parents, and biological parents in the Springfield, Missouri MSA (Greene, Christian, Dallas, Polk, and Webster County).
- Proposal annual requests cannot represent more than 25% of the organization’s annual budget.
