The GHLF Advisory Committee recognizes that there are long standing inequities that exist for many older adults and caregivers in Washtenaw County. While solutions to many inequities require deep investments into systems level changes, the GHLF Committee sees value in targeted solutions that provide a more immediate patch in services to reduce inequities.
As a part of the AAACF’s core values and for this grant program, they define equity as “providing different levels of support based on an individual’s or group’s needs to achieve fair outcomes and to support their ability to live a healthy and fulfilling life”.
Funding Information
- Grant award sizes will generally range from $10,000-$50,000.
- Grant award timelines will range from 1-3 years of investment depending upon the scope and scale of the project.
- Up to $200,000 is available to be awarded through this process on an annual basis.
