Community Impact Grants help nonprofits to be more effective, efficient and self-sustaining. Income from the Foundation’s unrestricted funds are awarded through the Community Impact Grant program.
The Foundation welcomes grant applications from nonprofit organizations which benefit LaGrange County, or its citizens. It generally favors grant requests which:
- Reach a broad segment of the community
- Promote cooperation and avoid duplication of services
- Request seed money to create innovative opportunities to meet needs in the community
- Provide services that are normally not provided
