The COVID-19 Vaccine Outreach Grant Program supports programing within the eastern Washington counties served by Innovia: Ferry, Stevens, Pend Oreille, Lincoln, Spokane, Adams, Whitman, Columbia, Garfield and Asotin and provide the following types of vaccine-related activities:
- Programming must be in within the eastern Washington counties served by Innovia: Ferry, Stevens, Pend Oreille, Lincoln, Spokane, Adams, Whitman, Columbia, Garfield and Asotin.
- Targeting funds to be trusted, community-based organizations that can conduct linguistically and culturally specific vaccine education outreach to those most impacted, especially in Black, Indigenous, and Communities of Color
- Funding for mobile pop-up and door-to-door vaccine clinics and address transportation or technology barriers
- Supporting creative and culturally appropriate approaches to brining together impacted communities facing serious barriers for localized vaccination efforts, including farmworkers, undocumented individuals, immigrants and refugees, and young people.
