Priority will be given to applicants addressing:
- The basic needs of beaches residents (food, emergency financial assistance, housing, shelter, transportation, health care, and behavioral health support), including those created or exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Supports for K-12 students (including school-based supports, afterschool and out-of-school programs, and enrichment for low-income students).
- Early learning opportunities for low-income students (including access to high-quality early learning centers, enhancing quality and learning within early learning centers, and home- or community-based learning opportunities).
- The transportation needs of low-income Beaches residents to access essential goods and services.
Applicants who have not previously received a grant from the Beaches Community Fund, or who are outside the parameters, will be given lower priority.
