The Neighborhood Match Fund, also referred to as the NMF regularly awards contracts with local residents organizing projects and opportunities that bring neighbors together to learn, build relationships and celebrate community.

Objectives

  • Lift up resident leadership in the development and implementation of the project
  • Build stronger connections (relationships) between neighbors
  • Promote social justice and inclusion
  • Benefit the public/community as a whole

Funding Information

Contracts ranging from $500 to $5,000 will be awarded for projects that support COVID-19 resident resiliency, racial equity and enhance the quality of life in neighborhoods.

  • Non-profits located in Grand Rapids
  • Community-based organizations located in and serving Grand Rapids
  • Individual Grand Rapids residents
