Donor Name: City of Dublin
State: California
City: Dublin
Type of Grant: Grant
Deadline: 12/07/2022
Grant Duration: 1 year
Details:
The City’s intent is to provide grant funds as leverage or matching funds to other funding sources, thereby, increasing services for the residents of Dublin. Eligible activities include, but are not limited to, human services activities; legal activities; childcare activities; senior activities; counseling services; youth services; and housing services. Grant funds must be used for the direct provision of services to Dublin residents; CDBG funded activities must serve low- or very low-income residents and meet all other Housing & Urban Development (HUD) requirements.
Grant funding is not guaranteed, and is dependent on the availability of anticipated CDBG funds from the Alameda County Housing and Community Development Agency and/or the City of Dublin General Fund. This is a competitive funding process, based on available funding. It is possible that programs may only be partially funded or not funded at all.
The City of Dublin Human Services Grants Program provides financial support to local non-profit organizations serving Dublin residents through designated funding sources:
- General Fund
- Federal Community Development Block Grant program (CDBG)
- Affordable Housing Fund
- American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA)
The Grants Program includes a competitive application process, mandatory participation in meetings and presentations, and strict financial reporting requirements.
Funding is recommended annually by the Human Services Commission and awarded by the Dublin City Council to organizations that best meet the community’s needs in keeping with the Grant Program guidelines.
Funding Period
This funding is available for use from July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024.
