Types of Grant
- Training Grants: Objectives for Training Grants will be reviewed annually and may change from time to time. Currently applications are being solicited for training grants in amounts of between $500 and $10,000 for training and/or instructional coaching benefiting several K-12 teachers with one or more of the following objectives:
- Support Grants: Applications are being solicited for Support Grants in amounts of between $500 and $5,000 to help cover costs of acquiring resources wanted by K-12 in order to provide innovative and effective learning experiences for students. Grants for general purpose computers will not be awarded. Grants for only a limited number of “Smart Boards” or other specific types of electronic devices in any school building will be awarded.

- Training grants are awarded between $500 and $10,000 for qualified training projects benefiting teachers and their students.
- Support grants are awarded between $500 and $5,000 for qualified projects to help teachers provide innovative and effective learning experiences for students.
Eligibility Criteria
- Grants are only made to public K-12 schools, Educational Service Units, other public educational organizations, as well as to qualified 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations.
- Grant applications will be considered which provide training or support for K-12 teachers at elementary and secondary schools located in the West Central Nebraska counties of Arthur, Custer, Dawson, Frontier, Hayes, Hooker, Keith, Lincoln, Logan, McPherson, Perkins and Thomas.
