Snohomish County on behalf of the County and “Participating Municipalities” in the Snohomish County Affordable Housing Trust Fund (AHTF) Consortium announces the availability of Affordable Housing Trust Fund (AHTF) dollars for the Operating & Maintenance (O & M) of Emergency Shelter and Low-Income Rental Housing projects. AHTF funds are generated from a document recording fee and the County receives a portion of income generated from those fees for the development and preservation of affordable housing for very low-income households.
Funding Information
- This application begins a five-year application cycle starting in the 2023 program year, July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024. Agencies awarded funds under this application will be eligible to submit an abbreviated application for program years 2024 through 2027. Renewal projects will be evaluated on performance and continuing need in the community. Projects will receive renewal awards based on the availability of funds.

Eligibility Criteria
Public agencies, Housing Authorities, nonprofit organizations, and for-profit entities are eligible to apply for AHTF O&M funding.
