The focus of the program is to establish, implement, and operate a workforce development program to be used for training people in emergency medical services to address the critical shortage of paramedics statewide and to increase accessibility to EMS education programming, specifically paramedic programs, in Michigan.
Funding Information
- The initial RFP will award up to $9,000,000
- Minimum award is $75,000
- Maximum award is $350,000
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should be currently licensed municipal or private EMS agencies, including Tribal agencies seeking to increase their workforce or their training, currently approved Michigan EMS education programs, or programs seeking to be accredited or to become an approved education program. Fiduciaries may apply on behalf of these entities.
