The Catholic Foundation is the steward of endowments and charitable funds that provide resources to parishes and other ministries. These resources are used to strengthen families, improve faith formation for children and adults, assist youth, foster discipleship, and integrate the ministry work of our diverse Catholic community.
The vision of the program is to see the Church of central and western Oklahoma flourish as a community of faith that nurtures and raises up fervent missionary disciples.
Grants are awarded for specific projects, based on:
- The ways the project supports Vision 2030;
- The objective of the project;
- The expected outcome and impact;
- The need for financial assistance to accomplish the stated goal.

- Family – strengthen marriages & family life
- Young People – address the unique needs of the young
- Education – strengthen education & formation
- Discipleship – build a culture of conversion and discipleship
- Cultural Groups – integrate ministry efforts
- Liturgical Life – love of God

Funding Information
The amount awarded varies based on need and typically range anywhere from $1,000 – $10,000.
Guidelines
- Grants are for future projects and not intended to reimburse past projects.
- Grants are only to be used for the project specified in the application, as grants are awarded based on a competitive process. Not all requests will be funded.
- If your parish is applying for grants for multiple projects, then the priority in the project name has to be listed.
- Priority will be given to parishes that have not previously received an award or have received less money than other parishes in the past.
