Kosciusko REMC encourages its members to “round up” their electric bills to the nearest whole dollar. The extra cents are deposited into the Kosciusko REMC Operation Round Up Fund, which supports a variety of charitable causes in communities served by Kosciusko REMC.

An average award is $2,500; however, the committee will consider requests up to $5,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- Organizations they serve:
- Must provide services to residents living within the Kosciusko REMC service area
- Must have a charitable designation.
- Operation Round-Up favors awarding grants that:
- Reach a broad segment of the community
- Impact low-income individuals, families, and seniors, such as providing food to those in need
- Provide mental health and safety-related programs
- Aid in youth development through mentoring and innovative educational opportunities outside of school
- Support and promote the local agriculture community through local chapters of 4-H, FFA, and similar programs
- Cover expenses directly related to the delivery of a program.
- Operation Round-Up places low priority on the following:
- Assets that are used for routine operations (as opposed to the implementation of a program), such as office equipment/furniture, computers/technology, software, etc.
- Contributions to a capital fund campaign
- Expenses incurred prior to grant approval.
