This year, EnergyUnited is celebrating the fifth anniversary of the Empowering the Future scholarship program, which offers two $5,000 college scholarships to high school students who are planning to attend a college, university or technical school after graduation.
EnergyUnited provides electric service in portions of nineteen counties in west central North Carolina which include Alexander, Cabarrus, Caldwell, Catawba, Davidson, Davie, Forsyth, Gaston, Guilford, Iredell, Lincoln, Mecklenburg, Montgomery, Randolph, Rockingham, Rowan, Stokes, Wilkes and Yadkin.
Eligibility Criteria
- Students must live in a residence that is serviced by EnergyUnited OR attend a school that is serviced by EnergyUnited.
- Applicants should be planning to attend an accredited college, university or a technical school.
