The purpose of SCR is to create access and support of the arts to the geographically, economically, and ethnically diverse segments of the state’s population. It is designed to create vibrant arts communities in all 62 counties by partnering with local and regional arts councils such as CNY Arts, to provide a link between NYSCA and the artists and arts agencies who are otherwise unable to access state arts funding
Goals
The CNY Arts SCR Program is designed to support the capacity of individual artists, collectives, and small nonprofit organizations to develop high quality arts projects and programming.
