These grants will be provided to leaders in Kalamazoo County who identify as one or more of the following:
- Black,
- Indigenous
- Latino/a/x
- American Indian or Alaska Native
- Asian American
- Native Hawaiian
- Pacific Islander
- Multiracial
- A person of color
Leaders with a disability and/or are LGBTQ+ will be prioritized. These grants are also available to individuals who have DACA or are undocumented.
Funding Information
Partners can request a maximum of $3,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- Identify as Black, Indigenous, person of color (BIPOC), Latino/a/x, American Indian or Alaska Native, Asian American, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander, multiracial, has a disability, is LGBTQ+, an immigrant, is undocumented or cin Kalamazoo County.
- Leaders are defined as CEOs, executive directors, associate/assistant directors, directors, managers, community organizers or any individual who is overseeing and guiding people or an organization regardless of positional title.
- Current or previously grant-funded partner. NOTE: Only one leader per organization will be considered for funding at this time.
