The Bridge Builders Neighborhood Microgrants program offers small one-time grants for collaborative, creative projects in Michigan Municipal League member communities.

Details:
Each project should build bridges across the community by bringing people together. This year, 10 microgrants of up to $1,000 each will be awarded across Michigan.
Each application must include:
- A creative project or event in a neighborhood
- Details about how the project celebrates the neighborhood’s (or greater community’s) diversity such as generational, racial, cultural, economic, and/or ability
- If you are not the owner of the property where your event or project will take place, please provide a letter of support from the owner of that property
Kinds of Projects “Fit” This Program
- Events that bring people together and promote collaboration across sectors
- Activities that celebrate the arts and cultural traditions and/or promote community wellbeing
- Micro-placemaking activities that physically transform a community/neighborhood space
- Events or other activities that reinforce their shared humanity and celebrate your community
- This is not an exhaustive list.

- Businesses/for-profit entities
- Governments
- 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations without a specific neighborhood focus
- Past recipients of Bridge Builders funding
