Details:
The purpose of the Listos California Tribal Grant (LI) Program is to support federally-recognized tribes located in California that serve populations in areas at moderate to high risk from natural disasters. Tribal governments can work independently, with other tribal governments, or with local community-based organizations (CBOs) to provide disaster preparedness information and resources to vulnerable communities. This work is intended to increase their communities’ disaster preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation capabilities.
Funding Information
- There is approximately $1 million in State General Funds available for the Program.
- Applicants may apply for up to $250,000.
Performance Period
June 1, 2024 – December 31, 2025
Eligibility Criteria
For a proposal to be eligible to compete for funding (i.e., read and rated) all the following conditions must be met:
- Applicants must be a federally-recognized tribe with administrative offices in California.
Only one proposal per Applicant will be eligible to receive funding. If an Applicant submits more than one proposal, only the highest scoring proposal, meeting the criteria above, will be considered for funding.
