The A.D. Abramson Endowment Fund recognizes the perpetuity of the arts and the importance of artistic expression in all of the lives. Therefore, the intention of this grant program is to support accomplished local artists in their creation of high-quality art that will be permanently displayed in public places (e.g., park, civic building, library, district hospital, city street) in the northern section of the Mendocino Coast (Elk to Westport).
Criteria
The Community Foundation provides applicants substantial leeway in defining their projects; however, preference will be given to projects that showcase the artist and his/her individual talent while reflecting “a sense of place” and community spirit.
